...11:00pm!!! and still open! In Korea you can go snowboarding almost 24 hours! really great, and they prepare the ski piste three times a day.
Haeinsa, this temple is one of the foremost Chogye Buddhist temple in Korea, It is most notable for being the home of the Tripitaka Koreana, the whole of the Buddhist Scriptures carved onto 81,258 wooden printing blocks, which it has housed since 1398.
The temple was first built in 802. Since 1995 it is on the UNESCO world heritage list.
The storage hall, more than 80'000 wooden printing blocks of the Tripitaka Koreana are stored in here. It is also the oldest part of the Haeinsa temple.
The monks at Haeinsa play this drum two times a day, early in the morning and in the later afternoon, it sounds amazing and in case you visit Haeinsa it is worth to wait for it.
